The Japamala App has been updated as many users requested, now allowing the addition of the Ho'oponopono intention! The visual aspect of the app has also been enhanced to bring more beauty to the application.
I hope you enjoy the updates!
The Japamala, a rosary used in Eastern traditions such as Hinduism and Buddhism, is used to count the number of times a mantra is recited, to keep track of breaths during meditation, and also for protection against negative energy.
The word "japamala" comes from Sanskrit, where "jap" means "murmur, whisper," and "mala" translates to "string, necklace". These rosaries can be made from various materials and decorated in numerous ways. However, they should always consist of 108 beads or multiples of this number (54, 27, 18, 9).
It is an ancient object of spiritual devotion, also known as a prayer rosary in the Western world. It is a craft widely used to aid in prayers and visualizations as a marker. There are two main aspects: a spiritual one, "Japa," and a material one, "Mala." Thus, the spiritual energies invoked through "Japa" energize the "Mala".
